1. Scope
This policy applies to the JADDI SARDAR iOS and Android applications and the connected Jaddi Sardar Trucklines Ltd. operations portal and backend services used to provide app functionality.
Access to operational features is restricted to authorized users with company-issued or approved credentials.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the user role and features used, the service may collect or store the following information:
| Category | Examples | Main purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Contact Info | Name, email address, phone number, physical address | Account administration, company records, customers/brokers, documents, and operational communications. |
| Identifiers | User ID, username, role, account association | Authentication, access control, and linking records to the correct authorized user. |
| Location | Precise GPS coordinates, location accuracy, and a readable street address when available | Driver dispatch, live operational visibility, and safety while an authorized driver remains signed in. |
| User Content | Photos, receipt images, uploaded documents, notes, descriptions, letters, and forms | Document management, expenses, maintenance, invoicing, and other company workflows. |
| Financial Info | Operational financial records such as invoice amounts, expenses, pay rates, payroll-related values, and settlement information | Company accounting and operations functionality. |
Information is generally provided directly by authorized users, created through use of the app, or generated by device services that the user has permitted, such as location services.
3. Precise Location
For driver accounts, JADDI SARDAR may request precise location permission, including background or “Always” location access where supported by the operating system. When permission is granted and the driver remains signed in, the app may continue sending the driver’s latest location while the app is in the background.
- Location is used for company dispatch and safety-related operational visibility.
- The latest reported driver position may be visible to authorized administrators.
- The app may convert GPS coordinates into a readable street address when location services can provide one.
- The system is designed to store the latest reported driver location rather than a travel-history trail.
- Location is not used for advertising or cross-company tracking.
Drivers can manage location permission in their device settings. Signing out of the driver account stops the app’s driver location reporting process.
4. How We Use Information
We use information collected through JADDI SARDAR for app and business functionality, including to:
- authenticate users and enforce administrator, staff, and driver access permissions;
- manage loads, dispatch, drivers, trucks, trailers, customers, brokers, invoices, expenses, maintenance, documents, payroll-related records, alerts, and company forms;
- provide driver work, fuel, expense, receipt, and operational-record features;
- provide authorized administrators with current driver location information for dispatch and safety;
- maintain business, accounting, legal, safety, and operational records;
- secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
We do not use app data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information collected through the app.
5. Sharing & Service Providers
Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the app and connected services, such as infrastructure, database, file-storage, security, and platform providers. We use these providers only as needed to operate, secure, support, or maintain JADDI SARDAR.
For example, the connected operations service uses Cloudflare infrastructure for application hosting and related backend services. Apple and Google may also process information as part of their operating-system, app-distribution, permission, or device services.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, enforceable government requests, protect safety, investigate misuse, or protect the rights and property of Jaddi Sardar Trucklines Ltd. and others.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain operational records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including business operations, accounting, legal, safety, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping requirements.
Driver location is handled differently from ordinary business records: the location feature is designed to keep the latest reported driver position and not a historical route or travel log.
Authorized users may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us using the details below. Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted for legal, accounting, security, safety, or legitimate business-record purposes.
7. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the device and jurisdiction, users may have choices and rights concerning their information. These may include:
- changing or revoking location permission through iOS or Android privacy settings;
- signing out to stop driver-session location reporting;
- requesting access to or correction of personal information;
- requesting deletion of personal information, subject to applicable retention requirements;
- contacting us with questions or concerns about how information is handled.
Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, requests will be handled in accordance with those requirements.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Access to the operations system is restricted through authenticated user accounts and role-based permissions.
No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their login credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
9. International Processing
JADDI SARDAR may be used in multiple countries. Information may be processed or stored in Canada, the United States, or other locations where our infrastructure or service providers operate. Privacy protections and legal requirements can differ between jurisdictions.
10. Children’s Privacy
JADDI SARDAR is a business operations application for authorized company users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children for consumer use.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our app, data practices, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
